Lindsay Lohan Photos As Marilyn Monroe
The recently rehabbed actress Lindsay Lohan posed nude - to recreate Marilyn Monroe’s last photoshoot - in the Spring 2008 Fashion Issue of New York Magazine that went sale on Monday, February 25.
Lindsay Lohan has done some wild photo shoots in the past, but she takes it to a whole new level in New York magazine to pay tribute to her idol. The shoots were re-creation of one of Monroe's most famous “Last Sitting” nude pictorial, done six weeks before Monroe was found dead. Those images for Vogue magazine feature Monroe is next to nothing, posing with some scarves and jewelry and sipping champagne.
Bert Stern photographed Lindsay Lohan wearing a blond wig and scarf at Hotel Bel-Air in California, the same hotel where he photographed Monroe in 1962.
In the essay accompanying the photos, Lohan said deciding to do the photo shoot was effortless. "I didn't have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It's really an honor." (Source: MTVAsia.com and Abqtrib.com)
