News On Contract Dispute Between Gabby Concepcion and GMA Films
Gabby Concepcion News Update : A contract dispute is about to start between GMA Films and Gabby Concepcion. According to GMA Films "Gabby Concepcion can't work with any other production until he finishes his contract with us."
"Our contract with him is for his first movie to be shown in the Philippines. And we have a provision that he can't work with any other production until he finishes his contract with us," says GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar, as reported by The Manila Bulletin.

September 2007 nagkapirmahan ng contract between GMA Films and Gabby. Originally, it was supposed to be a love story tentatively titled Love Cruise and supposedly written by Gina Marissa Tagasa under the direction of Mark Reyes.
Si Jolina Magdangal ang makaka-partner ni Gabby rito at sa Europe kukunan ang pelikula.
But Gina transferred to ABS-CBN and so a new writer was brought in—a writer from ABS-CBN na si Senedy Que. From a love story, naging comedy na ang movie with a new title, Holiday Off. More characters were infused in the story kung kaya't nadagdag sa mga bida sina Rufa Mae Quinto, Mark Herras, Rhian Ramos, and Eugene Domingo.
All set na ang lahat na pumunta ng Europe when they got word from Gabby that he cannot do the movie because of certain problems.
Ang explanation nga raw kay Jolina ni Gabby, na in constant communication with her, hindi niya gusto ang script. Walang sinabi si Gabby na babalik na pala siya sa Pilipinas last Sunday, March 30.
Itinuloy pa rin ng GMA Films ang movie now titled I.T.A.L.Y. Replacing Gabby is Dennis Trillo.
Nauna na sa Europe ang assistant director na si Elaine Lozano at sumunod naman sa kanya ang dalawa sa tatlong producers ng GMA Films na sina Joey Abacan at Noel Ferrer last Friday, March 28.
Pagbalik ni Gabby sa Pilipinas last Sunday, he personally announced that he is an exclusive Kapamilya and that his first movie will be for Star Cinema. Makakapareha niya rito ang nagbabalik-pelikula ring si Claudine Barretto at sa April 20 na ang scheduled first shooting day nila.
