Who won Pinoy Fear Factor?This Friday night, February 20, 2009 - The Pinoy Edition of Fear Factor will be concluded wherein the winner will be announced? Manuel was already sent home after failing to overcome the challenge last Tuesday.

Earlier tonight, Janna lead the "Tarantula" challenge and is now safe for the final stunt to win the two million pesos plus house and lot.

It is now between Jommy and Marion - one will be sent home while the other one who got will be safe and compete with Jana to be announced as Pinoy Fear Factor winner.

Last night's elimination of Pinoy Fear Factor, 22-year-old Jose Sarasola is eliminated after failing to succeed with the dare. He is the fourth eliminado of the show following Phoemela Baranda, Ram Sagad, and Gail Nicolas.

At the elimination challenge where the Jommy, LJ, and Jose are dragged by a speeding car and the one who land nearest to the Pinoy Fear Factor logo will be safe. Unluckily, Jose landed the farthest from the PFF logo with (4 meters and 30 centimeters). LJ Moreno won the stunt landing 1 meter and 5 centimeters away from the logo while Jommy landed 1 meter 50 centimeters.

Before Jose was sent home, he celebrated his birthday in Buenas Aires, Argentina. He is also linked to co-contestant Savanah. Will the two continue a romantic relationship once Savanah goes home in the Philippines?

According to Jose, they can only be friends and nothing more.

Pinoy Fear Factor Preview: ABS-CBN already aired the full trailer of their upcoming show - the Philippine edition of Fear Factor franchise which was shot in Argentina South America. The 12 challengers who tried to surpass Fear Factor's stunts and challenges were Basketball Hunk, The Lover Boy, Kargador sa Pier, Chef, The Promdi Veterinarian, Ms. Body Beautiful, The Daredevil Chick, Party Bombshell, Hot Mama, The Funny Austrian, Flawless Girl, The Glam Goddess.

Check out for the clues on the 6 men and 6 women competing for the grand prize below.

The 12 challengers will soon face the challenges of Pinoy Fear Factor in South America. The 12 finalists - composed of six girls and six boys - are set to leave by the end of August. They will stay in Argentina for a month for a chance to win 2 million pesos cash prize and worth 2.5 million pesos house and lot from Avida.

The six men contestants:
- Basketball hunk na may fear of heights
- Funny Austrian na takot sa ipis
- Lover boy na madaling mandiri
- Papalicious chef na may fear of heights
- Promdi veterinarian na dalawang beses bumagsak sa board exam at madaling magulat.
- Struggling Tondo dad, kargador sa pier na may fear of heights

The six women challengers:
- Daredevil chick na tinalikuran ang showbiz at may fear of the unknown.
- Flawless girl ng Dagat-Dagatan na may fear of snakes.
- Glam goddess, host at model na takot sa ipis at daga.
- Hot momma na nabuntis ng maaga at takot sa tubig.
- New Ms. Body Beautiful na takot sa snakes
- Party bombshell na dating mayaman na naghirap ang pamilya at may fear of water.

Fear Factor Philippines will soon air in ABS-CBN. They will be holding auditions to find people who are willing to take stunts and dares for a chance to win 2 million pesos and other prizes.

How to Join Fear Factor on ABS-CBN?
If you are 20 to 35 years old, male or female, and ready to face your fears and live outside the country for 30 days, then you are qualified to join. Go to PDA Concert Hall on June 29, 2008, Sunday at 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and bring the following requirements:

- Valid I.D.
- Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate
- Full body and close up picture

If GMA 7 has Survivor Philippines which is the franchise of the biggest reality show “Survivor“, ABS-CBN Kapamilya will definitely not get behind as they also acquired the copyright of Fear Factor. Fear Factor was an American stunt/dare reality game show, originally created by Endemol Netherlands. The original Dutch version of the said reality show was called Now or Neverland.

Fear Factor has generally been the show that has stereotyped the reality TV genre as "eating disgusting things" by critics and viewers, despite the fact that most shows in the genre do not contain these things.

Anyway, ABS-CBN sources say that the show’s name can be either Pinoy Fear Factor or Fear Factor Philippines. Fear Factor host choices are between Derek Ramsey, Ryan Agoncillo, Edu Manzano, Cesar Montano, Willie Revillame, Paolo Bediones, or they may look for an entirely new face for Philippine television.

Well, let's just wait and see who between the two networks will have the higher rating. Will it be Survivor Philippines or Fear Factor Philippines, just like the rival between Pinoy Idol and Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 / PBB Teen Edition Plus?
