Just recently, John Prats signed a one-year contract with ABS-CBN and is set to play the role of Tiny Tony, the next superhero TV series adapted from Mars Ravelo’s Komiks series. As Tiny Tony, John will wear four layers of clothing as his costume and a blue hair. There is no final word yet on when it will be shown locally, but at least his fans has something to watch out for.

“When I read the script, sabi ko grabe ang ganda. Usually kasi sa Komiks comedy, pero etong story comedy rin pero mas drama. Pinapakita yung love ng anak sa mom. Nandun yung moral lesson ng story,” John explained why he accepted the offer.

Aside from playing Tiny Tony, he will also appear in Your Song for the entire month of September. Thus, with these shows on the line, rumors about his transfer in GMA-7 kapuso is not true ;0

Parekoy is an upcoming comedy sitcom on ABS-CBN that runs for only 30 minutes like American sitcoms instead of the usual hour-long show. It is set to replace Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus 2 Über.

The series is about the misadventures of friends Joseph (John Prats), Mario (Zanjoe Marudo), and Jess (Jayson Gainza) and how they think up ingenuous ways to help people in need.

Their roles in the said series came from the characters they played on now defunct show, Aalog-Alog. It is the first Comedy-serye in the Philippine television history. Parekoy is directed by Randy Santiago.
