American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen sold more downloads this past week than runner-up Adam Lambert did, but far fewer than David Cook did in the week after he was announced as the Season 7 winner.

Allen's 11 entries on the Hot Digital Songs chart sold a combined total of 479,000 downloads. Lambert's 15 entries on that chart sold a combined total of 390,000. But both tallies are dwarfed by Cook, whose 17 chart entries sold a combined 943,000 downloads in his post-victory week last year.

Allen's top downloads are his widely-panned coronation song, "No Boundaries," which ranks #4 on Hot Digital Songs; his masterful interpretation of Kanye West's "Heartless," which ranks #5; and his cover of Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine," which ranks #17. Lambert's top songs are his hypnotic version of Tears for Fears' "Mad World," which ranks #7; his reading of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come," which ranks #32; and his take on "No Boundaries," which ranks #43.

"Underdog" Kris Allen's victory in American Idol Season 8 wasn't the only shocker of the "American Idol" finale - also judge Kara's biki-ni act during her duet with Katrina Darrell, this season's wannabe who only moved thru the Hollywood week.

During the American Idol 8 Finale, not only I who was shocked with the result after Ryan Seacrest announced Kris Allen as the winner of American Idol Season 8.

Was it a mistake for America? Or does he deserved it.

I thought Adam Lambert and Kris Allen deserved to be the winner and whoever America voted is deserving. Thus, I do believe Kris is really the 8th winner of AI.

Whew, next week is American Idol Season 8 Finale. Only two finalists remains. The Final will be between Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. I thought Danny Gokey will be competing in the finals but I got disappointed learning he was eliminated last week.

Well, don't cry over spilled milk. I am still a big fan even though Danny is not the eight American Idol.

So, it's between Adam and Kris this time. Already got your bet? Personally, I go for Adam Lambert, obviously. It's not only because I am his big fan, but I know viewers know that he truly deserve it.

I will definitely watch the finale next week. There's no AI fanatic who won't...

American Idol 8 is nearing to its end as next week will be the finals. After the remaining final three performs tonight, who will get voted next and who will remain at the Final 2.

My prediction? Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, or Danny Gokey?

I'll go with the obvious... I think Kris Allen will get voted off tonight which means Adam and Danny will remain at the Final 2 of American Idol season 8.

Not yet official, but who knows... I may be right.
