Krista Ranillo will be on the cover of FHM Philippines August 2008 issue. She took a break from showbiz from 2002 to 2007 to study and rejected several films offered by both Viva Films and Regal Films.

She finished Interdisciplinary Studies with tracks in Communications and Psychology at Ateneo de Manila wherein she was a consistent a Dean's Lister. After completing her studies, she immediately makes her comeback movie titled Paupahan where she plays the lead female character and appeared sexy and daring.

Krista is the eldest daughter of actor Mat Ranillo III and Linda Tupaz. She was named after the Lenten play 'Kristo', in which his father played Christ.
