American Idol Top 9 Performance - April 1, 2008
The nine finalists of American Idol Season 7 performed tonight April 1, 2008. The American Idol theme for 4/1/2008 was all about Dolly Parton, who composed more than 3000 songs. The favorites coming in to this evening were David Archuleta, Michael Johns, and David Cook.
First one to perform was Brook White singing Jolene, followed by David Cook doing his own version of Little Sparrow. Ramiele Malubay was the third one to perform and sung Do I Ever Cross Your Mind. Fourth one to sing was Jason Castro with Travelin' followed by Carly Smithson's version of Here You Come Again. David Archuleta was up next and sung Smoky Mountain Memories followed by Kristy Lee Cook's Coat of Many Colors. Syesha Mercado was up next with I Will Always Love You. Michael Johns close off the show singing It's All Wrong But It's All Right.
