SOP welcomes American Idol Season 7 wannabe Ramiele Malubay. She performed on the said show with Ogie Alcasid, Pinoy Idol winner Gretchen Espina and other 11 Pinoy Idol finalists.

Ramiele’s guesting on SOP is part of her promotion for her upcoming concert with Ogie Alcasid dubbed as “The Idol Experience: Ogie Sings with the Idols” held on on December 20 and 21(Saturday and Sunday), 8 PM at the Aliw Theater.

This is a two-night concert that will feature Pinoy Idol winner Gretchen Espina and the 11 Pinoy Idol finalists.

Our very own Ramiele Malubay will be visiting the Philippines on December with her best friend Danny Noriega. Both will have a back-to-back concert with Ogie Alcasid's "Ogie Sings with the Idols" together with Pinoy Idol winner Gretchen Espina and finalist Robby Navarro.

The concert will be on December 20 and 21 at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City. Tickets prices at 3000, 2400, 1400, and 650 pesos.

American Idol Season 7 wannabe Ramielle Malubay was already eliminated last Wednesday night, 3/2/2008. Anyway, here's a Utube video clip of Ramiele Malubay exit interview where she answered the questions:

This might be a bad news to all Filipinos and Fil-Ams who have been supporting Ramiele Malubay all the way. It's because American Idol finally says goodbye to her tonight during the eliminination April 2, 2008 and April 3, 2008 in some areas. What happened? I thought our fellow kababayans are supporting and voting her. Well, well... there's no point of blaming. At least she made it until the Top 9 finalists.

Remember Ramiele Malubay's claim during her audition wherein she said that she will be the first Asian American Idol. She even said that she will be better off than Jasmine Trias. Oh no. Her dream is no longer possible, as she was already eliminated. Anyway, here are the judges comments of Ramielle Malubay on each of her performances.

Randy said "It wasn't the right song choice for me."; Paula said "I'm hoping you stay through and keep going, because you're a very big talent in a little small package."; Simon said "I didn't think it was as bad as Randy said."

Randy said "Very classy, almost like a pro."; Paula said "You're a force to be reckoned with."; Simon said "...you out sung every single person."

Randy said it was a pretty good performance; Paula said she’s proud of her; Simon said overall it was forgettable and reminiscent of something heard on a cruise ship.

Ramiel Malubay: American Idol Top 10 Finalist Ramiel Malubay sings "Alone" tonight, March 25, 2008. Watch her performance Youtube video clip below. Feel free to read judges comments as well. Ramiel was sick while singing but she made it. It was pitchy and shouting... personally, I am not sure if she can pull thru and still make it at the top 9. Let's just hope the Filipino community in the US will support her. Anyway, here are what the judges have to say with Ramiel's perfomance:

Randy's feedback "...still it wasn't the right song for you. Too big song for and a little pitchy all over the place."

Paula commented "...it's not about picking it, cause I am sure you picked it healthy. However, I still give you a credit... and brave to do what you did."

Simon said "I don't think it was bad as Randy said...After what you sung last week which I thought was falling and you managed to survive, then you can get again this week with that perfomance. No question of that."
