The American Idol Season 7 Top 8 finalists performed tonight, 4/8/2008 and 4/9/2008 in some countries singing songs that inspires them as a tribute to Idol Gives Back to be aired on Wednesday night. Elimination will be in Thursday, April 10. Who will be the bottom three? Who will be eliminated this week? But before that, here's a quick recap of each contestants performances.
Michael Johns was the first one to perform singing Aerosmith’s Dream On. Then followed by Syesha Mercado choosing the song I Believe by Fantasia. Jason Castro is up third tonight, with a Brother Iz version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Kristy Lee Cook sing Anyway by Martina McBride. Will Kristy Lee Cook on the bottom three again? Or worst, will she be finally eliminated. David Cook takes the stage after Kristy. He sung Innocent by Our Lady Peace, which is quite an ambitious choice for American Idol. Brooke White closes the show with You’ve Got A Friend by James Taylor written by Carole King.
